We are doing a series of interviews called ‘TOKEN Talks’ with people in the Token family. Today we are talking to our Sponsored Hero, Luc Morin who hails from Canada. Luc has been a dominant force in triathlon for a while now, and is well known for his strength in running and cycling. Luc is the Head Coach and Lead Consultant at ePerformance in North America. ePerformance offers personalized training and consultations to help you achieve your athletic goals. Luc and his team put on training camps for athletes and in a nutshell, this phrase sums up the aim of the camp and Luc’s attitude pretty clearly.

“Skateboarding with my boys.”

What are your hobbies and interests outside of cycling?

“Cooking – I love cooking for my family and friends. I like to have people at the house and see them enjoy the food.”

“People that make things happen.”

“Superman. He has no ego!”

“To have a house in the Swiss Alps.”

Finally Earl did. He said to Bob. “I have good news and bad news. I’ll tell you the good news first. There is baseball in heaven.” Bob said, “That’s the best news!” Then Earl said, time for the bad news….”You’re pitching tomorrow night.”

Training & Nutrition

“Spicy food… never before an intense session!”

What does your training schedule look like?  Tell us how often you train, how you train and where you train.

“Training schedule varies according to my travel. When at home I train between 15-25hrs (build up)… when on the road coaching, it is very difficult to plan anything ahead… my focus is on the athletes.”

“Spicy food… never before an intense session!”

What do you eat/drink while riding?

“Powerbars and gels.”

Do you have any tips on nutrition or training that you would like to share?

“Recovery…20g liquid protein (100ml) + 5g l-glutamine 0-10min after a long/hard session, Liquid carbs with electrolytes (15-30min) after workout.”
